Don't be fooled by the cute child, this post is a serious political Rage Against the Machine

Here's Jack....But this is not just a photo of the greatest gift I have ever had the joy of sharing ...Its a rant against the City of San Diego Parking Police and their complete lack of talent....

Long story short...(not that short)... they blocked off public access to Fiesta Island, to hundreds of dog walkers, horse people, joggers, walkers, RV enthusiasts, radio controlled vehicle nuts, kite fliers, windsurfers...etc... all to ensure that no one was sneaking into a City sponsored religious event (Zzzzz...) near the Hyatt. (I don't drink anyone's cool-aid, except Lem Motlow's)

Traffic control (lack-of-control) made the area around the I-5 and Friars Road a nightmare and I am sure that multiple accidents could be attributed to the poor planning by the Parking Police.

In a tough economic time when everyone is complaining about lost revenue...the City, through poor planning and no oversight, blocked a major PUBLIC attraction, denying access to TOURISTs (see $$$ for City) and locals (see pissed off voters)....for no reason.

On the other hand...In the years that I have lived here, I have never had the island all to myself....

These pictures are of a beach in a major U.S. City, during the summer and extreme low tide....

No Nap Jack

Jack got dropped off crying... said he did not need a nap....and then passed out for over a hour and a half. A picture is worth a thousand words. Dad's case rests and the United States of America V one almost five year old is decided quite quickly. I was going to offer a secret recording of him crying, " but Dad I don't need a nap!!!!...." but I thought it might seem over the top to the jury....and shock the conscience of the court...Even with a nap so late he is now sound asleep at his regular time...
